are we?
Created in 1965, our company is dedicated to manufacturing Glazes and Ceramic Pigments for national and international distribution.
Since then, our objective has always been to offer the most innovative products, without ever abandoning Traditional Ceramic practices or its artisans. We prioritise the quality of our products to guarantee our customers’ satisfaction. In order to do so, we are constantly working to optimise our catalogue to meet any demand for our clients.
The Research and Development team is comprised of Ceramic Experts as well as Technical and Commercial Engineers and is always up to date with any advancement in the ceramic industry, always looking for ways to minimise our environmental impact.

our history
Prodesco was founded in 1965 with the aim of manufacturing pigments and glazes for the local tile industry, which was beginning to emerge, such as Enamels for kitchens and other home equipment that were also at the peak of their demand.
In the 1980s, when the company establishes itself as a trailblazer in the development of lead-free glazes for Traditional Pottery and food-safe ceramics.
In 2000, the company made the largest investment in Research and Development to acquire a specific product for dry application, to be applied by machines on Structural Ceramics pieces. This production process has grown and sustained itself since then.
Nowadays, we are a benchmark in our sector, due to the wide variety of ceramic products and accessories that we market, both nationally and internationally.
Our team
We rely on our team of personnel where customer service and investigation are as important as the production process and environmental conservation. With over 60 years of experience, we work together to achieve our goals.
We emphasise preserving equal employment, since 33% of our workforce is comprised of women, with 70% of Managerial roles being occupied by women.

PRODESCO S.L. has received financial support jointly backed by IVACE and the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER) in the PYME INNOVATION PROJECTS (INNOVA-CV) programme, document IMINOB/2023/23 within the Operative Programme for the Valencian Community 2021-2027, with the PRODEVA PROJECT:
• The main aim of the PRODEVA project is to study how valuable mud is as an inorganic additive to improve the properties of plastic materials. The project proposes a solution for eliminating part of the waste created by the company and converting it into a new resource.
PRODESCO S.L. has received financial support jointly backed by IVACE and the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER) in the PYME INNOVATION programme. PROCESS INNOVATION (INNOVAProC-CV), document IMINOB/2018/16 within the Operative Programme for the Valencian Community 2014-2020, with project:
PROCESS RE-ADAPTATION THROUGH THE APPLICATION OF CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT METHODOLOGIES. PRODUCTIVITY IMPROVEMENT AND LEAN MANUFACTURING.
Project for the implementation of an advanced continuous improvement system at PRODESCO, S.L. through the application of continuous improvement methodologies in processes, times, productivity control and lean manufacturing, with the aim of increasing PRODESCO, S.L.’s competitive edge.
The need for the project is justified by the readaptation of the processes of PRODESCO, S.L. to a constantly changing market, in order to meet the needs of national and international customers in an innovative and highly competitive sector such as the manufacture of pigments and ceramic glazes, both for the ceramic industry and for ceramic artists. Thus, PRODESCO, S.L. manages to improve its capacity for ceramic research and development as important foundations of the company.
The fulfilment of this project is a unique opportunity for the firm to position itself as an innovative and competitive company in the Valencian Community in Spain, as well as in the international market
